WHAT WE DO

The St. Louis Area Resource Room provides developmentally-appropriate toys and materials to families who are enrolled in the Missouri First Steps program in the St. Louis Area. Missouri First Steps is Missouri's early intervention program that works with children ages 0-3 with disabilities or developmental delays. Missouri First Steps is designed to meet the needs of families related to enhancing their child's development, learning, and participation in family and community life. Therapists, providers and service coordinators bring items from the Resource Room to families to help them engage their child in play, increase their learning, and support their development.

The St. Louis Area Resource Room is run by volunteers who plan and implement fundraisers. They also stock and maintain the resource room.
